Front Desk Clerk
The Front Desk Clerk serves as the first point of contact for customers and visitors, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, performing accurate data entry and recordkeeping, providing administrative support, and coordinating readiness program logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and a proactive approach to client support and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet visitors and answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide clients with clear and routine procedural information related to center services.
Data Entry & Recordkeeping
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely updates.
- Prepare and submit monthly data entry reports in accordance with established guidelines.
Administrative Support
- Assist clients with the use of lobby equipment, including computers, fax machines, and printers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
- Prepare and replenish informational materials, brochures, and handouts for clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a data entry or administrative support environment.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with web-based applications and data entry systems.
- Ability to operate data input devices and perform routine software tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Professional Competencies
- Understanding of standard customer service and business environment practices.
- Ability to use judgment and prior experience to plan and accomplish daily responsibilities.
