Problem Statement

ENation promoters wanted to increase their business. In order to do so, they wanted to get better insight. Example of some such insights are as listed understand.

  • Which product is selling more in which region?
  • Which bundled products are selling better in which region?
  • Which region does better/worse in which time of the year?
  • What is the cost per lead, per customer?
  • Details of the customer drop outs. In case a customer unsubscribes within 6 months, eNation is charged back the revenue paid

Solution

Based on our understanding of what the customer wanted done, we put together a plan to collect data from multiple sources. We developed a dashboard with multiple visual with each visual providing details relevant for the management.

Basic Dashboard

  • Total Revenue: User is able to view the total revenue received from the sale of all products. It includes even those which have experienced chargebacks
  • Revenue In Pipeline: Those connections that are submitted or shipped and are waiting to be activated will be shown as potential revenue from each product
  • State & Product wise revenue: User is able to view revenue earned in each state by Product with their, monthly, quarterly and yearly ratio
  • Total Chargebacks: User is able to total amount of chargebacks from all products within the specified period
  • State & Product wise chargebacks and cancellations: User is able to view the chargebacks and cancellations according to each product by state

Sales Dashboard

  • City & Zip code wise revenue: This dial provides further drilled down information of revenue in the city and by zip code with their, monthly, quarterly and yearly ratio
  • Revenue by Income groups: User is able to understand the relation between income groups the revenue which is earned from each product, zip code, city and state
  • Revenue by Service providers: User is able to view how much revenue is being earned from different service providers like AT & T and Spectra. This is shown for each state, city and zipcode

Profitability Dashboards

  • City & Zip code wise chargebacks: User is able to view further drilled down information of chargebacks by cities & zip code with their, monthly, quarterly and yearly ratio.
  • Chargebacks by service providers: User is able to view how much revenue is being earned from different service providers like AT & T and Spectra. This is shown for each state, city and zip code
  • Chargebacks by income groups: User is able to relate between income groups the chargebacks that are earned from each product, zip code, city and state. Giving a clear picture of income groups to be focused for particular products and region
  • Cancellations: User is able to view the cancellations which are the potential loss before activation. This information is displayed monthly, quarterly and yearly for each product, state, city and zip code

Results

Since implementing the dashboard eNation has had following ROI:
